Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Psychologist to join our team at St. Joseph's Care Group in a full-time temporary position within the Chronic Pain Management Program.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, preventing, and treating behavioral and mental disorders and dysfunctions. This includes maintaining and enhancing physical, intellectual, emotional, social, and interpersonal functioning.

This role requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary/interdisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing direct psychological services to individuals and groups.
  • Assessing and developing clinical programs.
  • Clinical supervision and program evaluation.


Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
  • Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology from a CPA or APA accredited training program.
  • Current registration or eligibility for registration with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario.
  • Experience in psychodiagnostic assessments, clinical program development, and evaluation.
  • Experience providing clinical supervision.


Skills and Abilities:
  • Assessment and treatment experience for clients with comorbid psychological conditions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in an ethical and professional manner.


Salary Information:$61.36 - $78.20 per hour.
