Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Alberta Ltd. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Hire food service staff
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
  • Establish work schedules
Work Environment

Our food service establishment is a fast-paced environment where you will work under pressure. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, kneel, and walk. You must be physically demanding and have excellent attention to detail.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in food service
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Client focus and efficient interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a team
