Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Construction Manager to lead our Underground Utilities team at Golderado Contracting Corp. As a key member of our construction management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, scheduling, and execution of underground utility projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and within-budget completion.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to General Foremen, Foremen, and other field staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Safety Management: Collaborate with Safety Advisors to ensure that all projects are performed safely and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Construction Management: Direct the overall construction program of the project, ensuring that it meets the client's requirements and expectations.
  • Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure that all work meets the required standards.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure that project requirements are met and expectations are managed.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a superintendent role, with at least 3-5 years of experience in underground utilities construction.
  • Education: Completion of high school is required.
  • Certifications: Must have Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS-09) Certificate, WHMIS 2015, Ground Disturbance Level II, and Leadership for Safety Excellence.
  • Skills: Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Software: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel) and proprietary software used within the organization.
