Job Summary

Brandt is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Heavy Equipment Sales Representative to join our team as a Territory Manager for our Laval Construction & Forestry branch.

This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional to specialize in the sale of John Deere construction and forestry equipment, Soil Compactors, and other associated manufacturer's lines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales and Business Development
    • Sell new and used whole goods product within the designated sales territory
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Customer Service and Support
    • Provide exceptional customer service and support to existing and potential customers
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners
  • Product Knowledge and Training
    • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and equipment
    • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance sales and product knowledge
  • Reporting and Administration
    • Prepare and submit sales reports and other administrative tasks as required
    • Maintain accurate records and data related to sales and customer interactions

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g. business, marketing, sales)
    • Minimum 2-3 years of sales experience in the heavy equipment industry
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Strong customer service and communication skills
    • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners
    • Excellent sales and business development skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Travel and Work Environment
    • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally as required
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment
