Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Live-in Caregiver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personal care and support to our clients, including administering medications, laundering clothing and household linens, and performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties. You will also provide companionship and engage in activities that promote the client's physical and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications as prescribed by a healthcare professional
  • Launder clothing and household linens
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Provide companionship and engage in activities that promote the client's physical and emotional well-being
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare healthy meals and snacks
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
  • or equivalent experience
  • Certifications: Mental health first aid Certificate, First Aid Certificate, Health Care Aide Certificate
  • Language: English
  • Availability: Temporary, 44 hours per week
