Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team at Borea Construction. As an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for establishing the quantities of material required, analyzing costs and contractual conditions for potential projects, and assisting in the preparation of bids to obtain contracts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review proposal specifications and drawings, collect all required documents, and analyze contract conditions to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Coordinate with external consultants to recommend the best solution based on cost, engineering, quality, or availability of materials.
  • Prepare and send technical questions and answers to clients, develop a plan for building and planning projects, and prepare preliminary schedules of work.
  • Analyze bid content from suppliers and subcontractors, extract quantities, and provide detailed quantity statements.
  • Attend coordination meetings, site visits, and evaluate project difficulty to estimate.
  • Estimate project costs using company software, prepare project overheads, and ensure estimates are structured according to cost breakdowns.
  • Communicate with external consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers during the bidding process and participate in bid closing.
