About the Role

IDS International is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Range Architect to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a cutting-edge cyber range environment for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Systems Integration: Design, implement, and manage the integration of various systems and technologies to create a seamless cyber range experience.
  • Platform Management: Oversee the operation, testing, and scheduling of the cyber range platform, ensuring it meets the needs of our clients.
  • Network Design: Create and maintain event network designs, integrate hardware and software, and determine baseline configurations for testing and training events.
  • Information Assurance: Assist with Information Assurance (IA) requirements and develop and implement range reset procedures.
  • Training and Support: Conduct training on cyber range usage, configuration, and assist with the implementation of training, exercise, and event virtual enclaves.
  • Project Management: Lead the technical operations of the cyber range environment and manage multiple related projects to ensure the overall technical program is aligned with strategic objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Clearance: TS/SCI clearance.
  • Certifications: Meet the DOD M IAT III Certification requirements.
  • Technical Skills: Expert knowledge in designing and configuring computer networks, including routing, switching, firewalls, DNS, Active Directory, VPNs, VLANs, SANs, and virtualized systems.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in the configuration and operation of cyber range or computer test-bed environments.
  • Additional Skills: Experience working with a wide variety of technology, including camera systems, Industrial Control Systems, Internet of Things (IoT) devices, building management systems, and radio frequency (RF) communications devices.
Computer Skills
  • Cloud and Virtualization: Experience with cloud, physical, and virtual network engineering, as well as hypervisors such as VMware, CypherPath, KVM, etc.
  • Microsoft Office: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Physical Demands

The employee needs to be able to sit at a workstation for extended periods, use hand(s) to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. Most positions require ability to work on desktop or laptop computer for extended periods of time reading, reviewing/analyzing information, and providing recommendations, summaries and/or reports in written format. Must be able to effectively communicate with others verbally and in writing. Employee may be required to occasionally lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically less than 20 pounds. Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
