We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at J.J. SANDHU CONSTRUCTION LIMITED. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining buildings, bridges, and other structures made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts and designs in accordance with building codes and regulations.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials to create structures and fixtures.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
  • Schedule and coordinate work on construction sites.
  • Estimate costs and materials required for projects.
  • Maintain and repair existing structures, including residences and wooden structures in various settings.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
  • Permanent employment with a regular 40-hour workweek.
  • English language proficiency.
Work Environment

This role requires working at heights, in noisy environments, and in various locations, including construction sites and industrial settings.
