Nightingale Electrical Ltd. is seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Technician to join our team. As an Electrical Systems Technician, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems in residential and commercial structures. Your duties will include installing underground wiring and cables, splicing and connecting wires, and testing and measuring voltage, loads, and ground faults. You will also be responsible for determining the appropriate selection of materials and methods for hazardous locations, troubleshooting and isolating faults, and renovating electrical systems. Additionally, you will read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications. Key Responsibilities:
  • Install underground wiring and cables
  • Splice, join, and connect wires
  • Test and measure voltage, loads, and ground faults
  • Determine appropriate selection of materials and methods for hazardous locations
  • Troubleshoot and isolate faults
  • Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the field
