Job Title: Power Engineer Class 3

At BGIS, we are seeking a highly skilled Power Engineer Class 3 to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our central heating and cooling plants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain central heating and cooling plants, including boilers, generators, and auxiliary equipment
  • Conduct routine tests and inspections to ensure equipment is functioning properly
  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on plant equipment
  • Work with computer software programs to monitor and control plant operations
  • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve mechanical problems and ensure plant efficiency
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Power Engineer Class 3
  • Significant knowledge of heating and cooling plant equipment and systems
  • Ability to work with a variety of computer software programs
  • Manual dexterity required for repair and overhaul of plant equipment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
