Bakery Team Member

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Team Member to join our team at Nelson the Seagull Cafe. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Production Scheduling: Draw up production schedules to ensure efficient use of time and resources.
- Staff Training: Train staff members on bakery procedures and techniques.
- Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
- Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
- Work Setting: Bake shop environment.
- Personal Suitability: Reliability and team player.
- Health Benefits: Health care plan.
- Employment Type: Permanent.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
