Job Title: Recruitment Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Recruitment Consultant to join our team at Global HR. As a Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, preparing and posting notices and advertisements, and collecting and screening applicants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Staffing Requirements: Identify current and prospective staffing requirements to ensure the right talent is in place to meet business needs.
  • Recruitment Strategies: Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent, including preparing and posting notices and advertisements.
  • Applicant Screening: Collect and screen applicants to ensure they meet the required qualifications and skills for the role.
  • Employment Requirements: Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.
  • Candidate Evaluation: Review candidate inventories and contact potential applicants to arrange interviews.
  • Selection Process: Co-ordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates.
  • Job Offers: Notify applicants of results of selection process and prepare job offers.
  • Staffing Policies: Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures.
  • Staff Consultation: Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures.
  • Staff Recruitment: Recruit and hire staff to meet business needs.
Requirements:
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Windows, Electronic mail, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and Internet.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, flexible, organized, reliable, team player, adaptable, and able to multitask.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in recruitment or a related field.
  • Support for Persons with Disabilities: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Support for Youths: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
  • Support for Veterans: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for Veterans.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
  • Support for Mature Workers: Provides staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers.
  • Support for Visible Minorities: Provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
