About the Job
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer - Projects to join our team in Port Colborne, Ontario. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience in manufacturing facilities or industrial environments.
The incumbent will be responsible for managing capital and expense projects from concept to project closure, working closely with other engineers to design and manage installations of new and modified equipment. They will be expected to create 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for mechanical designs, and supervise installation contractors for project work.
This position requires the ability to work in a production environment around chemicals and heavy and complex production equipment. The successful candidate will be required to stand and walk for up to 80% of their time, with occasional lifting up to 35 pounds.
We offer a competitive salary range starting at $103,000, with opportunities for professional growth and development in a dynamic and innovative industry.
