Job Title: Restaurant Host/Hostess

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Restaurant Host/Hostess to join our team at Apna Spicy Hut INC.

Job Summary:

The Restaurant Host/Hostess will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, answer questions, and provide menu recommendations to ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Table Management: Manage table assignments, seating arrangements, and reservations to ensure efficient service.
  • Cash Handling: Process payments, balance cash, and maintain daily log books to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Food Safety: Inspect dining areas, maintain a clean environment, and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with chefs, servers, and other staff members to ensure seamless service and a positive team dynamic.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Certifications: Safe Food Handling certificate.
Work Environment:

Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment with a physically demanding workload. The successful candidate must be able to work under pressure, stand for extended periods, and maintain a high level of energy throughout their shift.
