About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Recreation Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will work with clients to provide recreation therapy assessment, planning, and interventions in accordance with current evidence-based models and established standards of practice.
Job Description:
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm
Location: Riverview, Coquitlam, BC
Salary Range: $48,000 - $58,000 per year
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation from a recognized post-secondary program and at least two years' experience working in a mental health setting. They will be eligible for membership in the British Columbia Therapeutic Recreation Association (BCTRA) and possess comprehensive knowledge of evidence-based Recreation Therapy practice, theories and concepts of therapeutic recreation, leisure, social psychology, and current trends and practice in designated areas.
