Job Title: Motor Vehicle Body Repairer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Motor Vehicle Body Repairer to join our team at Castle Auto Collision & Mechanical Service Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing and restoring motor vehicles to their original condition. This includes cleaning and maintaining workspaces, replacing front end components, body components, doors, and frame, as well as repairing or replacing interior components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain workspaces to ensure a safe and efficient working environment
  • Repair and restore motor vehicles to their original condition, including replacing front end components, body components, doors, and frame
  • Repair or replace interior components, including seats, carpets, and trim
  • Apply primers and repaint surfaces to match the original finish
  • Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams
  • Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment
  • Select appropriate paint or mix paints to match the original color
  • Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted
  • Clean and make minor repairs to vehicles
  • Clean interior and exterior of motor vehicles
Requirements:
  • Motor Vehicle Body Repairer Trade Certification
  • 5 years or more of experience in the field
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Dependability, initiative, and judgement
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will work in a motor vehicle repair shop environment, with regular exposure to noise, dust, and chemicals. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines is essential.
