Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Architect to lead our cloud/SaaS technology development and contribute to the development of future offerings. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to shape the company's future through collaboration with highly skilled domain experts and developers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the work on selecting technologies and patterns needed for supporting future business needs.
  • Help shape the software platform to serve cloud-based customer needs.
  • Advise business units on strategic paths involving technology choices and balancing business and technology.
  • Be a software architect mentor to the engineering team.
  • Work in cross-functional agile teams to produce and release new applications, features, and enhancements.
  • Design and rapidly prototype proposed solutions in different tech stacks.
  • Work closely with other architects and development team members in major architecture projects.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of transforming complex business needs into effective software architecture and solutions.
  • Solid understanding of Inter-process Communication, Microservices, and distributed infrastructure.
  • Strong proficiency in database management and optimization skills.
  • Hands-on experience with dotnet and other backend technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct technical interviews and assess candidate skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of cybersecurity principles.
  • Proven dedication to continuous learning and staying current with emerging technologies.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to manage a team and conduct code reviews.
  • Proven ability to mentor junior/intermediate developers.
  • Extensive experience in designing, developing, and deploying secure Cloud Native Software.
  • Prior corporate finance experience, preferably with experience in ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical concepts.
