Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop cloud-based architectures that are secure, scalable, and cost-effective.
- Evaluate and recommend cloud technologies and services to support the needs of the organization.
- Develop cloud-based security policies and procedures to protect the organization's assets and data.
- Collaborate with vendor partners, other IT teams, and stakeholders to ensure that the cloud infrastructure meets their needs and requirements.
- Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure documentation, including architecture diagrams, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues with cloud-based systems and services, and work with other teams to resolve them.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and trends, and recommend improvements to the cloud infrastructure as needed.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other IT team members, including cloud engineers and administrators.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 10+ years of professional experience in an IT role.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and implementing cloud-based architectures, including cloud storage, networking, security, and compute on AWS platform.
- Certification(s) in cloud solution architectures.
- Practical knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation, and configuration management tools, such as Chef or Ansible.
- Functional understanding of cloud-based automation and orchestration tools, such as Jenkins or Kubernetes.
- Experience with agile and DevOps methodologies and tools.
- Experience in optimizing costs for cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with cloud-based security concepts, such as identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and network security.
- Experience of various cloud migration of enterprise systems.
- Functional knowledge of infrastructure management, identity management, virtualization, and hosted services.
- Experience in industries relating to industrial product design, manufacturing, and aftermarket services.
- Experience in developing integrated solutions for Salesforce, SAP, O365, and PLM environment.
- Leadership and presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences.
- Proficiency in English and French both verbally and written.
