Job Summary
We are currently seeking an experienced Equipment Maintenance Associate - Warehouse to join our team in Burnaby. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained, repaired, and prepared for delivery to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting machinery;
- Repair and replace parts as needed, using specialized tools and equipment;
- Conduct quality control checks on equipment before shipment to ensure it meets our high standards;
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve daily processing quotas and meet customer deadlines;
- Develop and maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs;
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to continuously improve our processes.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A strong background in mechanical or electrical repair and maintenance;
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and managing multiple priorities;
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers;
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy equipment, with regular bending, squatting, and standing required.
