Fitness Center Receptionist

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Fitness Center Receptionist at Gold's Gym British Columbia. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members and guests, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience at our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet members and guests warmly and professionally, promoting a positive culture at the club.
- Respond to customer inquiries in a prompt and professional manner, via telephone, email, and in-person encounters.
- Monitor member check-ins and ensure all policies and procedures are followed.
- Direct guests and appointments to the appropriate employee or department in a timely and efficient manner.
- Process point-of-sale transactions, including retail and concession sales.
- Check in members and guests using the proper registration procedures.
- Distribute membership cards, parking decals, towels, and other materials as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous customer service experience required.
- High school diploma required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid First Aid certification an asset.
- Fluent in English; ability to speak other languages an asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.).
- Knowledge of cash handling and previous experience with POS terminals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
