Medical Receptionist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Medical Receptionist to join our team at Sea Mar Community Health Centers. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our medical and dental clinics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process patient information and schedule appointments with accuracy and efficiency
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Manage patient records and maintain confidentiality
- Assist with daily front desk activities, including registration, billing, and insurance verification
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with patients, providers, and staff
- Work collaboratively with the back office team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient clinic operations
Requirements:
- Minimum one year of experience in a medical setting
- Medical terminology and computer skills required
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
