Job Title: Dining Room Attendant

At Tilly's Family Restaurant, we are looking for a friendly and efficient Dining Room Attendant to join our team. As a Dining Room Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Address customer complaints and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers with a smile.
  • Present bills to customers and accept payment in a timely manner.
  • Describe menu items, including daily specials, to customers and make recommendations.
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
  • Greet patrons, present menus, and answer questions regarding food and beverages.
  • Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff accurately.


Requirements:

  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Will train on the job.
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) occasionally.
  • Support for newcomers and refugees, including foreign credential recognition and diversity training.
  • Support for Indigenous people, including mentorship, coaching, and cultural competency training.
  • Permanent work term.
  • 40 hours per week.
  • English language required.
