Gpac is a leading full-service law firm with offices in multiple locations. We are committed to providing prompt and practical service through a hands-on approach in a team-oriented environment.

Position: Family Lawyer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Family Lawyer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in family law and be able to handle a wide range of family law matters, including separation agreements, spousal maintenance, and asset division.

Responsibilities:
  • Independently manage family law files and handle a wide range of family law matters.
  • Conduct hearings, discoveries, mediations, and trials.
  • Instruct support staff and receive instructions from clients.
  • Draft pleadings and speak to chamber applications.
  • Negotiate at mediations and appear at trials.
  • Manage all aspects of a file from beginning to end.
  • Experience in general civil litigation is an asset.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3+ years of current experience in British Columbia family law practice.
  • Ability to handle challenging work and manage files independently.
  • Strong judgment, work ethic, and interpersonal skills.
  • Desire to become part of the community served.
  • Enthusiasm for growing practice and working towards partnership.
Compensation:
  • Base salary: $100,000 – $200,000, depending on the year of call.
