De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited is seeking a highly skilled Aviation Engineering Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing maintenance and operational data, performing first-level analysis of in-service aircraft reliability trends and developing new scheduled maintenance requirements for the De Havilland family of Aerial Firefighting aircraft.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work with a renowned aerospace company and contribute to the development of high-quality maintenance solutions. As an Aviation Engineering Analyst, you will work closely with operators and maintenance organizations to collect and analyze data, identify trends and develop recommendations for improvement.
Responsibilities- Analyze maintenance and operational data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Perform first-level analysis of in-service aircraft reliability trends for subsequent 'Deep Dive' reviews.
- Develop new scheduled maintenance requirements of DHC-515 Aerial Firefighter as a result of product change, in-service experience or industry guidance.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement changes and improvements to maintenance processes.
The ideal candidate will possess a university degree in Engineering, College Diploma in Aviation, or relevant practical Aircraft Maintenance experience. A minimum of 3 years' experience in aircraft maintenance and/or engineering is also required. Experience in maintenance planning / reliability / engineering / maintenance cost management for Aerial Firefighting, military, missionized or commercial aircraft operations is an asset.
