Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Paul First Nation. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals and families within the Paul First Nation community.
About the RoleYou will work collaboratively with a team to deliver a wide range of services, including diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions, performing routine physical exams, drawing blood, and promoting health and wellness.
Primary Care ServicesProvide comprehensive primary care, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic illnesses.
- Conduct thorough health assessments, including blood draws, physical exams, and health histories.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, focusing on preventive health, chronic disease management, and patient education.
- Work closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes.
- Participate in community health initiatives, educational programs, and outreach activities to promote health and wellness.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, adhering to professional standards and regulatory requirements.
- Advocate for patients within the healthcare system, ensuring equitable access to healthcare resources and services.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited institution, with a focus on advanced clinical practice.
- Minimum of two years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a primary care setting. Experience in Indigenous or rural healthcare is an asset.
- Understanding of Indigenous health issues and the ability to deliver culturally sensitive care.

Estimated salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience.
