About the Role

This position involves providing direct care to residents, including administering medications, assessing their physical and emotional needs, and developing personalized care plans. Additionally, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate records, managing inventory, and adhering to infection control protocols.

Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science – Nursing (BScN), Bachelor of Nursing (BN), or equivalent
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with Long Term Care Act, Program Standards for Long Term Care, and relevant provincial and municipal statues
