About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Construction Cleaner to join our team at RJS Contracting Services. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse.
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers to prevent odors and pests.
  • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and visually appealing environment.
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies to ensure efficient use of space.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting and drywall repair to maintain the integrity of our properties.
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas to ensure safe access to our properties.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Be physically demanding and able to lift heavy loads and stand for long periods.
  • Perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling to access hard-to-reach areas.
