Job Title: Interim Executive Director

Calgary Christian School is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interim Executive Director to lead our institution during a transitional period. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the school, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a positive and inclusive school culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage financial resources and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.
  2. Oversee school facilities and operations to maintain a safe, student-centered environment.
  3. Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including parents, alumni, and local community leaders.
  4. Serve as a key liaison with the Board of Directors, ensuring effective governance and communication.
  5. Drive the strategic direction of the school and report on progress.
  6. Empower staff to achieve excellence in their educational and spiritual journeys.
  7. Ensure transparency, accountability, and empathy in addressing challenges within the school community.
Requirements:
  1. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  2. Leadership experience in education or nonprofit administration.
  3. Strong commitment to community engagement and developing relationships within the school and local community.
  4. Financial acumen and ability to manage budgets responsibly.
  5. Board operations experience and governance expertise.
  6. Conflict resolution and empathy skills.
  7. Commitment to Christian education and fostering a Christ-centered environment.
Compensation:

Calgary Christian School offers a competitive compensation package, with a salary range of $115k to $140k annually.

This is a contract role lasting up to 24 months, while we work to fill the full-time role of Executive Director.
