About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Record Clerk to join our team at Alberta Ltd.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, calculating fixed assets and depreciation, and preparing tax returns. They will also be required to maintain general ledgers and financial statements, post journal entries, and prepare trial balances of books.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintaining financial records and establishing, balancing various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Calculating fixed assets and depreciation

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, based on experience. The selected candidate will work 35 hours per week with a permanent employment contract.
