Pleco Migration Private Limited is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Consultant to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Stay up-to-date with the latest security and technology developments to ensure our systems remain secure.
- Research and evaluate emerging cyber security threats and identify effective ways to mitigate them.
- Develop and implement disaster recovery plans to minimize the impact of security breaches.
- Monitor our systems for attacks, intrusions, and unusual activity, and take prompt action to address any issues.
- Test and evaluate security products to ensure they meet our needs.
- Design and implement new security systems or upgrade existing ones to maintain the highest level of security.
- Use advanced analytic tools to identify emerging threat patterns and vulnerabilities.
- Engage in ethical hacking to simulate security breaches and identify potential weaknesses.
- Implement measures to prevent security breaches, such as firewalls and encryption.
- Investigate security alerts and provide incident response to minimize downtime.
- Monitor identity and access management to prevent abuse of permissions by authorized system users.
- Liaise with stakeholders to provide guidance on cyber security issues and recommend future improvements.
- Generate reports for technical and non-technical staff and stakeholders to ensure everyone is informed.
- Maintain an information security risk register and assist with internal and external audits.
- Monitor and respond to phishing emails and pharming activity to protect our systems.
- Assist with the creation and delivery of cyber security awareness training for colleagues.
- Provide guidance to staff on issues such as spam and unwanted emails.
