Cyber Security Specialist

Pleco Migration Private Limited is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Consultant to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Stay up-to-date with the latest security and technology developments to ensure our systems remain secure.
- Research and evaluate emerging cyber security threats and identify ways to mitigate them.
- Develop and implement disaster recovery plans to minimize the impact of security breaches.
- Monitor for attacks, intrusions, and unusual activity to prevent security incidents.
- Test and evaluate security products to ensure they meet our standards.
- Design and implement new security systems or upgrade existing ones to stay ahead of threats.
- Use advanced analytics to identify emerging threat patterns and vulnerabilities.
- Engage in ethical hacking to simulate security breaches and identify weaknesses.
- Implement measures to prevent security breaches, such as firewalls and encryption.
- Investigate security alerts and provide incident response to minimize downtime.
- Monitor identity and access management to prevent abuse of permissions.
- Liaise with stakeholders to provide cyber security guidance and recommendations.
- Generate reports for technical and non-technical staff to ensure everyone is informed.
- Maintain an information security risk register and assist with internal and external audits.
- Monitor and respond to phishing emails and pharming activity to prevent security incidents.
- Develop and deliver cyber security awareness training for colleagues to ensure everyone is aware of security best practices.
- Provide guidance to staff on security best practices, such as avoiding spam and malicious emails.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of cyber security principles and practices.
- Experience with security tools and technologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical staff.
