This role requires a seasoned technology leader with experience in leading and managing software engineering teams, as well as expertise in mobile app ecosystems, including iOS and Android.
The ideal candidate will have a strong product-oriented approach to problem-solving and development, and be able to define and implement KPIs to optimize software development processes and promote best practices.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position that reports directly to the VP of Engineering.
We are looking for a visionary technology leader who can mentor and cultivate innovation within our engineering teams.
Responsibilities- Lead a diverse team of engineering managers, analysts, and developers specializing in front-end, back-end, and multi-platform systems to deliver cutting-edge Core Messaging and Voice solutions for clients.
- Design and execute engineering strategies for iOS, Android, and backend platforms, ensuring seamless customer-focused experiences.
- Collaborate closely with Product Management to create and implement innovative features tailored to customer needs.
- Convert product requirements into actionable technical plans and oversee their successful execution, prioritizing quality and timeliness.
- Track application performance using key metrics, identify optimization opportunities, and implement targeted improvements.
- Enhance development workflows by introducing efficiencies and adhering to industry-leading practices.
- +10 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on mobile platforms, including Android and iOS.
- +5 years of experience leading and managing software engineering teams.
- Extensive knowledge of mobile app ecosystems, including iOS, Android, and their backend systems, as well as mobile design, development, and deployment processes.
- A strong product-oriented approach to problem-solving and development.
- Proven ability to lead and deliver complex, large-scale technical projects.
- Expertise in Agile methodologies and managing distributed development teams.
- Skilled in defining and implementing KPIs to optimize software development processes and promote best practices.
We offer a competitive salary of $250,000 per year, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
