Job Title: Shoe Repairer

We are seeking a skilled Shoe Repairer to join our team at CANADA INCORPORATED. As a Shoe Repairer, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining footwear, luggage, and other leather goods.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in shoe repair and maintenance, with experience working with various types of footwear and leather goods. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Repair and maintain footwear, luggage, and other leather goods
  • Meet with customers to determine type of footwear to be made according to doctors' prescriptions
  • Estimate costs and provide quotes to customers
  • Measure customers' feet using a ruler marked in thirds
  • Outline and cut patterns
  • Repair soles, heels, and other parts of footwear
  • Repair belts, purses, luggage, and similar products
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in shoe repair and maintenance
  • Ability to distinguish between colours
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking
  • Sitting
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
