Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Game Community Manager to join our team at Ubisoft Entertainment. As a key member of our community team, you will be responsible for establishing and growing our communities around our games with a focus on player communications, game improvements, and feedback cycles.

About the Role

This position will involve leading the global community strategy on specific brands, creating and executing global plans, and working with a distributed international team focused on building relationships and earning trust with players worldwide. You will provide guidance to cross-functional team members, facilitating collaborative planning and execution at high-quality standards.

Your Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute community strategic plans through various content tactics that support production objectives and enhance our overall marketing strategy.
  • Leverage community managers, transversal teams, and relevant partner resources to create engaging content for our players (e.g., blogs, podcasts, interviews, infographics).
  • Act as a spokesperson for assigned brands, coordinating community-centric events such as studio visits, developer dialogues, and tournaments.
  • Collaborate with the social media manager to define and report on content KPIs, demonstrating success and ROI of community programs and content.
  • Shape player feedback cycles and provide insights to production and publishing teams to influence game experiences, stimulate player retention, and inform marketing messaging.
  • Manage and produce internal reports on community feedback, activity, and expectations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Intermediate experience managing online communities and developing strategic plans or programs with demonstrable success in a professional setting.
  • Extensive experience in the gaming industry, with multiple gaming platforms.
  • Strong understanding of building and maintaining video game communities, as well as developing strategic player engagement plans.
