About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at Associated Engineering. As a key member of our infrastructure development team, you will be responsible for leading engineering projects related to municipal infrastructure, water & wastewater facilities, contract administration, and client relations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead engineering projects from design to delivery, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure optimal project outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate project risks.
- Develop and implement project management plans, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, promoting professional development and growth.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure project delivery excellence.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline from an accredited institution.
- P.Eng. in good standing with APEGS.
- 5-8 years of experience in engineering project management, with a focus on municipal infrastructure and water & wastewater facilities.
- Proven track record of successful project delivery, with a strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple projects and deadlines.
- Valid class 5 driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
