At YOUNG BOY DRYWALL LTD., we are seeking a skilled Site Painter and Decorator Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces for painting, repairing cracks and holes, mixing paint to desired color and texture, and applying paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning and sanding them.
  • Repair cracks and holes in walls and ceilings.
  • Mix paint to the desired color and texture.
  • Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.

You will work on various locations, including outdoors and at heights. This is a physically demanding job that requires attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to distinguish between colors. You will also need to wear steel-toed safety boots.

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in painting and decorating, with a strong background in brush painting, conventional spray painting, and roller painting. Metallized coatings and paint spraying experience is a plus. You will also need to be able to work independently and as part of a team.

This is a full-time position with an estimated salary of $40,000-$60,000 per year, depending on location and experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, paid vacation time, and opportunities for professional development.
