We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at The Fort Pub & Grill. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.
Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes to order, using a variety of cooking techniques and ingredients.
- Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and high-quality food.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking of ingredients and supplies.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience in a kitchen environment is an asset.
- Certifications: Safe Food Handling certificate.
The Fort Pub & Grill is a fast-paced restaurant environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and high-quality food. As a Line Cook, you will be required to stand for extended periods and work in a dynamic kitchen environment.
