We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at SSP Canada. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing delicious dishes for our guests and ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook food to order, following recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Set up and maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including storage and rotation of ingredients.
- Handle and store food safely, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Operate kitchen equipment and machinery, performing routine maintenance and cleaning tasks.
- Manage inventory and supplies, ordering and stocking as needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient service and high-quality food.
- 1+ year of experience in a food service environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and credit transactions.
- Food handlers permit and brand certification (as required).
