Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team at Black & McDonald Limited. As a key member of our Facilities Management & Operations team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service and maintenance to our clients in the GTA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various HVAC/R systems and components
  • Replace and upgrade existing systems and components related to the HVAC trade
  • Respond to emergency service calls within our client base
  • Identify deficiencies and make recommendations to clients
  • Complete work orders, deficiency reports, field quotations, estimates, and daily time summaries in a timely fashion
  • Replacement of various types of equipment (small projects)
  • Perform scheduled maintenance as assigned
  • Participate in 24-hour emergency on-call rotation – approximately 3 rotations per year
  • Maintain a professional demeanor
  • Exhibit exceptional customer service skills

Requirements:

  • 313A Certificate of Qualification
  • Valid G1 Gas license
  • ODP and TSSA Brazing Certified
  • 3-5 years of experience as an HVAC Journeyperson performing service, maintenance, upgrades, and installations for ICI (Institutional, Commercial, Industrial) sites
  • Any related manufacturer factory training is an asset
