Overview

The Sales Merchandiser plays a vital role in the success of Frito Lay Canada by delivering exceptional customer service to various large and small accounts, including supermarkets and variety stores. This involves merchandising products, freshness rotation, display setup and maintenance, storage room organization, and the movement of product from storage to the sales floor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Merchandise store shelving, racks, and displays with PepsiCo products
  • Utilize Point-of-Sale materials to effectively promote products
  • Ensure back-room stock is kept in a neat and orderly condition, with shelving cleanliness maintained
  • Provide excellent service to assigned accounts, creating and maintaining goodwill with all customers
  • Perform all assigned duties in a safe and productive manner
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and a reliable vehicle
  • Merchandising or retail customer service experience is beneficial, but not necessary
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to perform frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, squatting, reaching over shoulder
  • Able to lift 50 plus pounds and push or pull up to 200 pounds using a pallet jack
