Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Server to join our team at AJ's Brooklyn Pizza Joint. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food and Beverage Service
    • Prepare and serve specialty food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Present menus and make recommendations to customers, taking into account their preferences and dietary restrictions.
    • Take orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff.
  • Customer Service
    • Greet customers and provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
    • Answer questions and provide information about menu items, including daily specials.
    • Describe and advise on wine selection and other beverages.
  • Table Management
    • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs in a timely manner.
    • Manage table assignments and ensure that customers are seated and served promptly.
  • Teamwork
    • Work collaboratively with other servers, bussing staff, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.
    • Supervise and assist other servers as needed.
Requirements
  • Education
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Experience
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in the food service industry is preferred.
  • Language
    • Fluency in English is required.
  • Availability
    • Availability to work 40 hours per week is required.
