Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Capital Sales Representative to join our team at Weir Minerals. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong customer relationships with EPC and end-user project teams to grow our market share for our entire product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and grow market share.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
- Generate sales presentations, proposals, and contracts for opportunities as required.
- Support the transition of awarded sales into production realization stages.
- Identify new product and service growth opportunities within our target market.
- Demonstrate a commitment to our zero harm behaviors and contribute to developing a world-class safety culture.
Requirements:
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience selling engineered rotating equipment and packaged solutions for major greenfield and sustaining capital projects in the Alberta Oilsands.
- A strong competitive nature, active listening skills, and a consultative approach to selling.
- Exceptional ability to present information and respond to questions from various stakeholder groups.
- A Bachelor Degree or Technical Diploma in Engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
