About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team of professionals who are dedicated to delivering exceptional service and support to our Customers. As a Medical Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for providing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation support on complex medical devices and equipment.
Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on medical devices and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Conduct thorough troubleshooting and root cause analysis to identify and resolve equipment issues.
- Provide installation support for new medical devices and equipment, including setup and testing.
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to understand their needs and provide customized solutions to meet their requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and customer interactions.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong background in electronics, mechanical engineering, or a related field, plus one to two years of experience in medical equipment maintenance and repair.
- Excellent technical skills, including proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with healthcare staff and customers.
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
- Familiarity with GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and GLPs (Good Laboratory Practices).
