About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at HANGRY PIRATES INC. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands.
    • Portion and wrap foods accurately and efficiently.
    • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables with a smile.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation
    • Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
    • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit to meet kitchen standards.
  • Inventory Management
    • Stock refrigerators and salad bars to ensure adequate inventory levels.
  • Customer Service
    • Take customers' orders accurately and efficiently.
    • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs as needed.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Availability
    • Availability for shift or on-call work.
  • Language
    • Fluency in English.
