$80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

Job Description

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong leadership skills, excellent assessment and communication abilities, and a commitment to continuous professional development. As a Critical Care Emergency Nurse at Brightshores, you will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing high-quality patient care in critical care and emergency settings.
  • Leading by example, empowering colleagues, achieving results, and developing others.
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Adhering to Brightshores' 'CARE' Behaviours (Collaboration, Accountability, Respect, Excellence) and 'LEAD' Competencies.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Essential Qualifications
  • Ontario College of Nurses registration.
  • Current BCLS and ACLS certification.
  • Recent critical care experience within the last 5 years.
  • Recent emergency room experience within the last 5 years.
  • Post-Anesthesia Course or willingness to obtain within one year of hire.
  • Critical Care Certificate (CNA or College approved) or willingness to obtain within two years of hire.
Preferred Qualifications

Desirable Qualifications
  • Coronary Care Certificate.
  • Community College Diploma in Emergency Nursing or ENC Certification.
