Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Protection Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Chubb. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on fire alarm systems, ensuring the highest level of system reliability and user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine testing and inspection of fire alarm systems to ensure maximum system reliability and user satisfaction
  • Analyze and report any problems that occur while performing duties, and submit suggestions for improving productivity and quality of work
  • Maintain and update all drawings and service bulletins provided
  • Develop and maintain high-caliber relationships with customers to ensure their satisfaction and provide information on the operation or installation of equipment
  • Ensure the most productive use of time by regularly communicating with the service coordinator when a job is completed
  • Develop knowledge of Chubb's products and prepare and submit timely, accurate, and neat reports showing all pertinent information
  • Maintain a constantly up-to-date inventory in a neat and orderly manner
Qualifications
  • Two-year Community College graduate in electronics (or equivalent)
  • Completion of ASTT qualifications
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • A valid Canadian driver's license with a clean record
  • Previous experience maintaining electrical systems would be an asset
  • Previous experience maintaining Edwards or equivalent fire alarm equipment would be considered an asset
  • Previous experience programming and troubleshooting Edwards or equivalent fire alarm equipment would be considered an asset
