Your Opportunity:
This permanent full-time position is based in the Fairview Health Complex in Alberta. As a Physiotherapist II, you will provide coordination of physiotherapy and other allied health clinical services. You will work both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team, providing leadership to other healthcare professionals. You will be responsible for making day-to-day clinical decisions on patient/family needs regarding assessment, intervention, discharge, and follow-up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide physiotherapy services to clients of all ages
- Supervise students and team members as assigned
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide safe, efficient, and effective client care
- Ensure physiotherapy practice is evidence-based and in alignment with Alberta legislation and regulations, professional standards of practice, code of ethics, and AHS policy and guidelines
Required Qualifications:
Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program or bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program and related experience. Active or eligible registration and practice permit with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta.
