Clinical Pharmacist

BC Cancer is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Pharmacist to join our team in Surrey, BC. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our clinical programs.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide individualized drug therapy to patients through methods such as receiving patient charts, assessing clinical response, and creating individualized therapeutic plans.
- Interact with patients and the healthcare team to ensure appropriate medication therapy and develop therapeutic plans.
- Prepare and dispense medications and other pharmaceutical supplies to ensure appropriate medication therapy.
- Provide verbal and written drug information to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Assist with the provision and/or financial support of non-BCCA benefit medications required to optimize the therapeutic plan.
- Provide instruction and/or supervision of pharmacy students and/or pharmacy residents.
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy with current registration as a Licensed Pharmacist with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.
- Completion of a Hospital Pharmacy Residency Program.
- One (1) year of recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
