About this opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Desjardins Agent team as a Client Solutions Consultant. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and supporting our clients in achieving their goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored solutions: Offer advanced guidance and expertise on how Desjardins products can help clients meet their insurance needs, both now and in the future.
  • Deliver outstanding service: Provide complete and correct solutions the first time, delivering exceptional customer experiences through inbound and outbound advice and service, and/or sales for transactions related to insurance products and services.
  • Act as a process/product expert: Play a key role in addressing customer concerns, be accountable for problem-solving, and/or raise matters to the appropriate people.
  • Work towards achieving set goals: As an ambassador for innovation, offer exemplary experiences and trusted advice, working effectively as a team and utilizing knowledge to support co-workers in resolving customer issues.
  • Develop leads and schedule appointments: Identify customer needs, market appropriate products and services, and provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
  • Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals: Collaborate to develop and implement strategies to meet marketing objectives and drive business growth.

Requirements:

  • Sales experience: Outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing experience preferred.
  • Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas: A proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets desired.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills: Strong written, verbal, and listening skills necessary for success in this role.
  • Proactive problem-solving: Ability to think critically and develop effective solutions to complex customer issues.
  • Dedicated to customer service: A customer-centric mindset and a commitment to delivering exceptional experiences.
  • Ability to multi-task: Effective time management and organizational skills necessary to handle multiple priorities and tasks.
  • Ability to make presentations to potential customers: Strong presentation skills and the ability to effectively communicate the value of Desjardins products and services.
  • Passion for delivering superior customer experiences: A desire to consistently and compassionately deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Property & Casualty license: A valid Property & Casualty license (or ability to obtain one) required.
