Your key responsibilities will include:

* Managing a portfolio of high-value and complex small business owner relationships to achieve retention and other negotiated goals
* Creating a strong presence within the local business community by developing relationships with various Centres of Influence
* Proactively engaging with new and existing clients to build strong, ongoing relationships and provide comprehensive advice
* Partnering with fellow advisors to create a customer-centric environment

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

* A results-oriented attitude and sound knowledge of the small business market
* Excellent business development techniques and a strong understanding of small business legal structures and life cycles
* Good organizational skills and flexibility to adapt to a constantly changing environment
* Strong relationship-building and communication skills
* An education in a business-related discipline or equivalent work experience as a small business owner
